The Accreditation Body of Montenegro (ATCG) had the honour and pleasure of hosting, on 11 November 2025, at its premises, high-level representatives of the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) and the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS). This visit provided an opportunity to strengthen professional dialogue and deepen cooperation among national accreditation institutions.
The DAkkS delegation was led by Mr Stephan Finke, Chief Executive Officer, together with Ms Jana Klink, Head of Technical Cooperation and International Partnerships, and Ms Barbara Pflugbeil, Head of Assessor Management. On behalf of ATS, the meeting was attended by its Director, Mr Dragan Pušara.
The meeting took place in a highly constructive and partnership-oriented atmosphere. Discussions focused on organisational models and practices of national accreditation bodies, current challenges in the field of accreditation, as well as future steps to strengthen the role of accreditation at the regional and global level.
In this context, particular emphasis was placed on the upcoming regional project entitled The Single Market Academy, funded by GIZ, which, with the expert support of DAkkS, will enable further strengthening of the capacities of accreditation bodies in the region in key areas essential for their continued development.
The Accreditation Body of Montenegro expresses its gratitude to the representatives of DAkkS and ATS for their visit, open dialogue and valuable exchange of experience. ATCG looks forward with great appreciation to the continuation of successful multilateral cooperation, as well as to further strengthening bilateral relations between our institutions.
